Three nutrients the close relationship between

Proteins, fats and carbohydrates are collectively referred to three nutrients.

For example, when the energy intake exceeds consumption, irrespective of the excess energy from FAT or protein or carbohydrate, will be converted into fat accumulation in the body causing obesity. For example, carbohydrate and fat in the body can convert each other, mutually replaceable, whereas protein cannot be replaced by fat or carbohydrates.
